W2K won't install to SCSI boot drive

Hi everybody! I have a Tekram DC390U3W
SCSI adapter, Seagate Cheetah SCSI drive, XP2100, Gigabyte GA-7VRXP. I have absolutely beat my head trying to install Win
2K.
I have tried:

Not loading SCSI drivers: Install fails

Loading SCSI drivers (F6): Locks up at "creating WINNT folder"

Installing to an IDE drive, then use GHOST to copy image to SCSI drive:
WIN2K begins to load, then get unknown hard error.

BTW, Win ME installs, boots, and runs fine on the SCSI drive, so I would think termination, etc. is correct. I am not a SCSI guru though.

If anybody has any ideas, would appreciate much. Thanks.

I have a comparable setup running no prob.

You might want to try a different PCI slot or maybe flash the SCSI card BIOS (4.19 is the latest).
You can find the BIOS here: http://www.tekram.com/updates.asp?Produ ... 0U3_Series

It's FINALLY working. I greatly appreciate your response. I had pretty much done everything there though and it still wasn't working.

Problem turned out to be the drive cable was on wrong connector/channel on adapter card. That is the only thing I changed when it started working. I have a Tekram DC390U3W.

Thanks.
