I'm thinking i need a new monitor, this good 17" I got is big, it's sharp, but its got real bad refreash rates (im at 1024X768 24Bit color and 56Hz on desktop) so I've got $200 to spend, and I want at least another 17" monitor, 19" if i can get away with it bigger? I want 100Hz or 120Hz at 1024X768 am I asking too much of a $200 monitor?? what would YOU think is best for me? I currently use a Veiwsonic Optiquest Q71 17" monitor, got it used for $15 (woo!) and a NEC CS500 15" monitor.

Thanks in advance!

If you have a Costco around you the one here by where i live in Washington state has a Sylvania 19" for 179 it isn't a flat screen no matter what their website says. At least the one they had their wasn't one i thought it had a nasty curve to it. http://www.sylvaniapc.com/1Products/specs/f912.html or this one its a 17" Flat screen my dad has one and it has a beautiful pic on it. http://www.sylvaniapc.com/1Products/specs/tf722.html. If i wasn't so damn picky i'd get the 17 but i want a 19 and a flat screen so the 19 there won't do it for me.

First off, CHICKEN RULES YOU ALL!! THATS WHY!............ OK?!

Anyway I do have a Cosco near me, I'll try to get a ride over there next weekend (when I get paycheck) see if I can't find a nice one. I will have to look for that 19" yer talkin' about PreDatoR, see if it fits my needs.

Any other Monitors that are to my specifications??? I Have the blinds closed anyway (Sun shines in, very hot in California this time of year) so haveing a curved monitor isn't THAT big of a deal.

Thanks everyone!
