Want something that has a flat screen will do at least 1600x1200 and have a crystal clear picture on it. Oh and the kicker it needs to be black. I'm racist when it comes to my computer parts... :D Thsi old 17 i have needs to go the screen is a lil blurry i was just at my dad's and he's got a flat screen Sylvania 17" he bought at costco for 120 i think. The pic on it is so nice and clear it ain't funny. I think they have a 19 there too but i want one in black since this is the only part of my system that isn't black.

I edited the title instead of making a new thread... this was my original post. I'm lookin' at the viewsonic e90fb the B is just for black. Can get one for about 260 shipped which ain't bad. They are 300 here then i have tax on top of that and tis only the white one. I thought they had a decent pic. What are some of your opinions. Is it worth the money or am i better of to just splurge and get a sony triniton :D

I have a 19" dell trinitron I'm really happy with. Its made by sony for dell. Modol # P991. I couldn't find it when I searched Dell. The closest things I found were the M991 and the P992. Viewsonics are supposed to be a good brand also.

I've got my eye on the NEC PF955 now if i can only find it in black :) or the Viewsonic E90FB. I like the .20mm pitch the NEC has though should have a nice clean and crisp picture on it.

You meant FP right? The FP955 doesn't have .20mm dot pitch, it has .24mm. However, the whole screen has the same dot pitch.

I'd like to hear how the monitor is, I am sorta interested in it also, but I just heard bad things, and also wanted to find a monitor with BNC connections.

Thanks.

ehh i was thinkin' of a Samsung 955 something or other i think... Too many damn numbers...lol Costco here has a 19" Sylvania for 179 does 1600x1200 @75 which is normal. Only problem was that it wasn't a flat screen but it did have a nice clean picture on it... And it wasn't black but there is vinyl die :) One u might want to check out is Cornerstone. I've seen them priced pretty cheap. And they have a 5 year warranty on them vs the 3 most other places have.
