Just recently I sold a system to a neighbor and now it is having problems. First here are the system specs:
Celeron 366@550
Abit BE6
WD 10GB harddrive
Voodoo 3 2000 PCI
Cmedia PCI Sound Card
PCI NIC
CD-ROM
Floppy
The computer keeps locking up and upon locking up the computer won't restart when power is turned off. But if you go in and move the processor around or just hit the machine a little it will work restart fine. Now, the processor is a socket 370 on a slocket that is held in the slot by the posts at the end yet it still won't work. I think the locking up is because of heat considering the only fans are in the PSU and on the processor but is this a sign that the processor is dying? (It's almost 3 years old). Thanks in advance.

That's what I figured FP, considering after it locks it won't boot up and it does after moving the processor around. It is on a slocket and it isn't the tightest fit. Time to place a P3 Slot 1 in there.
