Got a q on my reobus

Post by Titus »

Hey, i just got a reobus kit from caseect.com and put it together. When i pluggled it in and plugged the fan into my RCA fanbus nothing happened. I took the fan and hooked it up to a molex and it worked fine. So i thought maybe it was my connections in the RCA plug--tried again..nothing..

So now im thinking it might be the RCA board--maybe ive got something wrong. so i get out my multimeter and check the connections to see if im getting any power at all. 5v. no matter what. all i get per channel is 5v. I twist and turn the reos and it stays at 5 v.

Now im thinking maybe its the molex going into the RCA board...
correct me if im worng but its:
12v - red
neg - black
neg - black
5v - yellow

I have the red and black lines going in--am i wrong and the yellow is 12v?

Any help--suggestions--etc is appreciated

The yellow is the 12v, the red is 5v.
