Screwed up bases on Logitech Z560's?

Post by Sean »

Ok, I really just noticed this. When I first got them, i tried swicthing bases around an stuff, but the first one I tried, the allen wrench didn't fit.. So, I thought it was a front speaker, well, all the other three (I just noticed this) fit fine! Take a look at this picture:

The one on the right is the correct size, the one on the left is all jacked. What do I do? Anyone wanna tade bases? I also sorta scratched that base up, trying to get it off.. This isn't bending or anything, its just shorter! Therefore, only way to fix it is to get a new one..

What do i do???

The bases are aluminum which means the flex and bend easy... just bend it a little so that the allen wrench will fit in... OR take a hack saw and cut a little off the allen wrench and file the edges clean... If you have a dremel which i'm sure you do use that!
