KT333 or KT266A?
I might be changing out my current mobo (Iwill XP333R) for a newer one. The ALi chipset is great yet there is an issue with preformance with ATA133 RAID. I run ATA133 RAID so therefore....so which chipset would be the best to get? I know the KT333 is a new chipset and still might have bugs and knowing how some VIA chipsets are should I avoid the first release and go with the KT266A?
no reason not to go with the newer. but the via400 verson will be comming out soon also.

well I bought the XP333 for the sole reason of getting away from VIA....
as for raid performance has via fixed their problems in that area yet? I know on most kt266's youd see even less performance than you are now...
BTW...when I ran 133 raid on the XP forcing the drives to operate ata100 fixed all my probs...at a performance hit that was more or less negligible...
