Big pictures not loading in IE?

Ok, this is stupid. I am trying to see how long I can go without turning off/restarting my computer. So far it has been a little over two days, without any hiccups at all. Now, all of a sudden, big images are not loading anymore. And the reply box here doesn't load, but the new topic one does. This is stupid. I have one IE window open, and still, the same thing. The image loads, but does not appear. Is this something in IE? I mean, i have OVER 50% resources, and that is MORE than enough to work in Photoshop (on my computer). I don't understand..

Anyone know?

Check the settings for your IE cache size (Tools->Internet Options->Settings).

I have found that anything over 50Mb causes all kinds of strange behavior (images not loading, etc).

By default IE sets it to some percentage of your free hard drive space - I've seen it set as high as 600 Mb which is rediculous.

Go to tools, internet options and then advanced. Scroll down to Multimedia and be sure "enable automatic image resizing" isn't checked.

If that doesn't work then try some of the other settings.
