Any body build a box with the M7VIF?? Newegg has sold a bunch of these boards but so far haven't heard how they are. I got one but waiting for the cpu's to drop in price. Also have 2 sticks of Mush.pc2700 ddr. ++

I've used plenty of Biostar's M7VKB, M7VKL, and M7VKG boards, and they're pretty darn good. Only problem is that they're traditionally very light on tweaking features.

Hi:
I own one of these boards, and i dont know what is going on, my 1800+ Xp is detected as a 1150 MHz cpu, being in fact 1533, anyone knows what gives?, or a way i could slap it around and knock some sense into it?

epsylon - Check your user manual. You should have a jumper to set the CPU frequency. Your current speed suggests that you're presently set at 1000mhz instead of 133mhz.

If this is like the M7VIP there should be a jumper marked JCLK1. With the jumper across pin 1&2 the clock is set at 100. Across 2&3 you have 133. :)

Thanks a million

it seems i just thought that the jumpers were set to the default 133 mode, but they were at 100, now i corrected it and it works as it should, i thank you verry much
