I jsut got a set of Logitech Z560's... After hearing them all i gotta say is WOW! Anyways i'm thinkin' about hookin' these up to the DVD player... i've got a Toshiba SD3750... It has the optical out... now here's the kicker... how can i hook these up... If i got a sound card with an optical in will i have the 4.1 surround sound? I'm not an audio buff and if the speakers work thats pretty much good for me. Since these sound so good i figured i might as well try to hook the DVd player up to the computer somehow so i can enjoy full surround sound when watching movies... I know the herc GTXP has optical in and out as well as the SB Live Platinum and the Audigy Platinum but the live drives are white and that will just clash with my all black setup! lol That and i'm not too fond of the external thing the GTXP has. And herc also has the Gamesurround Fortissimo 2 that has the optical in and out right on the card itself? how good of a sound card is this and how will it compare to my WB Live! X-Gamer that i have now? Newegg has these for 41 shipped so i was thinking about picking one up possibly.
