I am running dual monitors in Windows XP. I just formatted and am reinstalling everything. Now when I pick to display my desktop on both monitors, The seconds monitor is all garbaled, has lines all through it, and flickers when anything is over there. I am using a Radeon 64 DDR and a S3 Trio 32/64 This setup just worked before. I dont know why it won't now. Please Help

Sight unseen, my first reactions to that stated problem would be:

-Bent/broken pin on cable

-Refresh rate exceeding card/monitor capability

I haven't used either of those cards in a dual setup, so I can't claim to be an expert.

my first, second and third guess was a cable problem as well.
Have you tried switching monitor ports to make sure the problem is in the card?

Well you're down to driver, then. Try downloading the latest and greatest.

Also try to Trio by itself as the primary. If you get a garbled image in the POST screen, something's wrong with the card.
