stick the vivo in there, it'll smoke the 7200

i would stick a volcano 7 on, that thing looks cool and i like the idea of a variable fan

looks nice...i want an upgrade...but i think i'll hold off until university time and then blow my scholarhsip money :D

Nice setup d_b pretty much the same as mine... I just got my Iwill XP333 today but haven't installed it yet... Wait for tomorrow night or weekend to do that :) Get one of those coolermaster heatpipes... They look sweet as hell :)

Very nice. You'll like it . I'm not too crazy about Mushkin ram as usually you can find stuff that performs better for less dough. Go with the Vivo. I hear the 7200 blows.

Seems like the Iwill XP333 mobo is a pretty hot board. Vidman, Predator, d_b all have one. I'll be joining the club once I get my tax return check :) Although no XP processor (gotta get all new mem considering I'm using SDRAM).

It is most certainly a sweet mobo. At this point I'm just waiting for some better heatsinks to come out so I can use the higher voltage options once I unlock the cpu. There are people running these mobos over @ amdmb.com Iwill forum as high as 190 and 200 FSB. I think you have to do a ram voltage mod tho to hit that high. 170's and 180's FSB are not unrealistic though with a stock XP333R revision 2.1 and that ant bad in my book. :D

Throw in the Cmedia 8738 6.1 surround o/b sound, Hpt372 ata133 o/b RAID and the numerous PCI dividers for when your running at high FSB's and there ant much not to like. Well, they could have put it on a black or blue PCB I guess. :lol

The latest BIOS also offers async cpu/memory options too. ( e.g. cpu at 133 and ddr at 166. Gotta like that. :)

Right now it seems, getting quality PC2700 memory is the only drawback. There are memory presets on the XP333R ( Ultra 1 and Ultra 2) that won't even allow you to boot in that they are set so aggressive !! Maybe some DDR will come out soon that will run there. Micron is supposed to be coming out with some kickass PC2700. If so, this board will smoke !!! :|

I had a corrupt text problem in windowsXP that was attributed to the ALi chipset when using the Radeon 8500 but now that I've flashed to the latest BIOS (0118) and installed the xp6118 Radeon drivers from rage3d, all is well. The text problem was driving me nutz so I ordered the Shuttle AK35GTR and was resigned to waving bye-bye to the Iwill. Don't have to do that now, thank goodness. Now what am I gonna do with the Shuttle that I ordered?? DOH !

Corsair has some PC2700 memory available

On the topic of memory, which brand is the best? I'm not looking into hardcore overclocking but maybe a little overclocking. Out of Corsair, Kingston, Mushkin, Crucial, PNY, or OCZ?

Kingmax, Twinmos/Hynix, or Crucial. If you get the Crucial make sure it's Micron chips and not Samsung.

I went with the mushkin because I have some now(notddr though) and have been able to crank it up to 150 fsb without any problems and it fit my budget. I ordered everything from 1 place to save on shipping. I won't be O/Cing the new system for a while anyway. I hope it gets here by the weekend but I doubt it.

Thanks for the thoughts and replies peoples. :)

Looks good to me, d_b :) I just installed two 40gig drives in RAID-0. Now I need to network my two machines to copy all my music/movies over :D
