WHAT brand/model tape drive? I didn't think they made tape drives that connected to the floppy cable anymore. What is this an old Jumbo tape backup drive?

Usually it connects to the IDE or SCSI bus.

Any jumpers you need to set on the tape drive?

That was a common problem with their drives back in the old Colorado Jumbo tape days. Guess it hasn't changed.

Read the manual carefully. You may be required to use their ribbon cable. Check their website and see if they have a FAQ.

I went 15 rounds with a T3000 once, and lost a unanimous decision. :)

Seemed willing to work with the proprietary add-in card, though, even when it wouldn't play well with the onboard floppy controller.
