I have a STB Velocity 4400 video card that I am looking for the original drivers for. I know it is a TNT based card and I am currently using the Dets for it, but the card has S-video and RCA out that I want to use on a TV. Currently I have found some older DETs that allow me to use the RCA out but I want the original drivers so I can have access to all the features. Anyone know ere I can find a copy?
Thanks,
RD

Go to the
http://www.gateway.com site, go to Tech Support, Driver download, Get Drivers, choose Computer Type as Desktop, Hardware Type as Video and then STB as Manufacturer.

If the card has TV out, ANY recent Det driver should allow you to use it.
Any driver from STB is going to be WAY out of date.
You can try looking here:

Here is my issue:
When I was building the computer I had the 2.17 Dets (from HardOCP) on hand and used them to complete the install. Everything worked great except the TV flickers pretty bad when there is heavy activity or playing video. Once I got the net connection working I downloaded the 23.11 DETs and they created more problems with the quality and stablility of the TV out.
I was hoping that some STB drivers might help out....worth a try.
BTW: The computer is:
BH6, PII500, 128Megs, NIC, ESS Sound, Velocity 4400, 4G HDD, 4x CD
Killer machine...but I am building it for my 5 year old daughter.
I dont have a monitor and Im trying to use the TV only.
I am acutally impressed with the RCA out on this board. Looks good and fits the TV just fine.
Its just when playing videos or heavy HDD access the screen flickers really bad.
Ill give the mentioned STB drivers a try and report back with the results.
thanks
