Just got a ViperII to replace my TNT2 Vanta in my 3rd system, it's a K6-2/350. And the Damn ViperII sucks!!! I used to get 1200points in 3d mark2000 with that crappy 16MB Vanta, and now I get an awesome 700points!!! It's drivers support is SH!T, the latest drivers was back in June, no Windows ME support! I upgraded the card coz I needed TVout for my DVD and Games, and the Win98 drivers will not support TVout in WinME!
Oh why did I do that... and according to some fan site, S3/Diamond will NOT be producing any more drivers for the ViperII... I should've gone with ATi's Fury w/TVout... anyone wanna trade?

BRU HAHAHA! did U get it brand new? if so they do actually stink right out of the anti static bag. if not U missed out on an experiance! Sorry 2 here your troubles.

it's not that bad
You will get higher scores than the tnt2
I had it for a long time. I got around 1700 in 3dmark with a cel at 550.

works pretty well with an old tnt I had
has composite and s-video out.

heh I thought this was going to be a story like "I went to the store and bought a GF2 GTS but when I got home and some dastardly fellow had replaced the GTS with a goat blower!" But if you went in the store to buy one, then it is your own fault...

I got it used... I needed a TV-out card for my DVD player, and I saw some guy selling it, so I bought it from him!
Damn it!!! The DVD is all messed up with GREEN SH!T, nothing is working!!!
This sucks... I am in big "D'oh" now...

I thought the rage fury max was the one and only "GB"
