EZ CD Creator and HP9350i problem

I'm trying to use Easy CD Creator Platinum 5.02d to copy a disk, but my system just hangs during the read process. After I cancel, I have to then reboot my system to get it to work properly. I'm running WinME with a HP 9350i CDRW and there is no other recording software installed. I looked at Roxio's Knowledge Base, but found no answers. Anyone experience similar problems, or know how to solve this?

Dump PITA CD Creator and use Nero or CloneCD for copying a disk.. Clone by far is the best for dubbin' cd's of all types.

CloneCD is what I use, but I got a copy of EZCD and figured I'd give it a try. Kinda would like an all-in- one program.

IF your looking for all in one Nero works really well.. I've used ver 3 and up of EZCD and all were the biggest pain to keep functioning properly. Seems like it either works really well or it don't work at all for most people.

I've got ConeCD and Nero playing nice together. I use CloneCD for coping from CD to CD and Nero for everything else. Works great for me.

I figured it out. I was trying to make a copy of a CD with a Digital ID, and that's what was causing the problem. I fire-up CloneCD ,set it to read Sub-channel data, and the disk copies fine)*
