Seems that I've done it before with Netscape but I havent used Netscape now in months and would like to get my old e-mails and bookmarks from my old IDE HDD to my new SCSI HDD.
Can it be done or is it just lost? I don't see anything in the old IE5 folder.

IE bookmarks are stored in <span style="font-family: monospace;">%USERPROFILE%\Favorites</span>. I <span style="font-style: italic;">think</span> Outlook Express stores email messages in <span style="font-family: monospace;">%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Outlook Express</span>.
<hr/>Update: Just punch those into the <span style="font-family: monospace;">Run…</span> dialog, and Explorer should take you to the right spot.

You need to *copy* these folders:

c:\windows\cookies
c:\windows\favorites
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{F4EDEEC0-BBCD-11D3-BB3A-00A02436D914}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
(note: this one will look a little different, but the location is the same)

Once you have copied the above folder, you have to import them back in from Outlook Express. The reason is Outlook will create another special directory when you install Outlook again from scratch. Simply import the data back in and your ready to go.

You can just export the bookmarks to a file. File->Import and Export->take it from there. you can then import it later doing the same thing. the mail you'll have to do what these dudes said.
