That sounds extremely high to me. I am happy when I get 19xx kbs on my cable connection. Did you run the test more than once to see if it was a fluke.

Your download speed : 1136090 bps, or 1136 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 138.6 k/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 116788 bps, or 116 kbps.
Your connection rocks .. above the 1mbit barrier :(

I havent done any of those tests in ages but I know that my cable rocks :)

..........so much so that now when I'm at work and have to use that PCs 56K modem, I find it very frustrating waiting for the browser to load each page. Sometimes I just decide to screw it and wait until I get home as I find slow loading pages too annoying. Cable spoils us for sure.

From @home in Louisville, KY:

** Speed 2892(down)/1097(up) kbps **
(At least 57 times faster than a 56k modem)
Finish.

Gotta like no upload cap :)

That is actually pretty accurate. From my experience, this is about where I max out. Though I do get about 3500 kpbs downstream from IBM.

Your download speed : 27800 bps, or 27 kbps.
Browsers would show : about a 3.3 k/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 24221 bps, or 24 kbps.
Your connection hardly qualified as broadband, at least in that test

327/110 here on dsl lite - which is advertised as 384/125 - still beats the heck out of not being able to connect half the time using POTS :)

my office has cable which is capped at 625/125 and this dsl line is sometimes faster

at least i can do online gaming again! (and the kids can talk on the phone while'm im surfing)

On Laptop with wireless nic (not using any registry tweaks) it says "up to 28Xs faster than a 56K modem". I know I can get better scores on the faster PC, wired nic with registry tweaks.
