I think you're looking for LinuxPPC, http://www.linuxppc.com/ , the Linux for Macs.

mandrake is the best linux distro in my opinion. they have a port for the power pc. here is a link to download version 8.0 linkified

SuSE also offers a PowerPC distribution, 7.3, so it's brandnew everything BUT you can't download ISO's, you could eventually do an FTP installation or buy the distro.
