Just curious i seen a couple reviews of different boards and the memory scores were twice as high as my 8k7a's are.. Just wondering what everyone around here is gettin' for them?

I don't buy the scores i seen... They were on a Soltek kt266a board... At 133 FSB the scores were way above a P4 with PC800 then they juiced it to 150 and it was even higher.... I was kinda thinkin' someone was full of it. My scores at 148 are 882/874 there's at 150 on that board said 19xx/18xx.

There are hacks that allow to fool benchmark programs. They trick somehow the program to think time runs faster/slower than realtime.

nope i don't think he saw hacks..
they are correct scores...
however the memory bench itself was changed...
the latest version of sandra has 2 types of memory tests... buffered and unbuffered...
forgot which one was the old one... but sandra added the new on to reflect "real world" performance...
that's why the #'s are so high...

I heard that memory scores changed with recent Sandra builds ... didn't know it would bring up almost twice the numbers between old and new test.
