I got sick of the damn Delta on my Taisol... So i picked me up a Volcano 2 and robbed the fan off of it... cooling went up by 2 F but i tell ya its so nice having a quiet case :) BTW the fan has the 3 wires but MBM isn't picking up the RPM of the fan... Is this right or is my fan screwed up? Just thought i'd ask.

Welcome back to the human race. ;) Because when I hear one of those lawnmower fans I look and act like an alien. :D Many of us are using that fan off a v2 thanks to nexus's suggestion, peace is so nice. :)

You have it plugged in the cpu fan's connection? If so then perhaps double check the settings in mobo monitor. It may be off. Unless it worked before and now isn't just because of the change. That wouldn't make sense though. I usually plug it in to a 4 prong adapter, just feel safer that way.

Its plugged into the mobo's fan header just like the Delta Was... I actually had the delta tied into my fanbus and just had the tach on the mobo... I had a 30cfm on it for a few days on the mobo and it was showing the rpm's... So i don't know if its the mobo or not... Guess i could try a different spot on the mobo and see if its teh fan sensor or that plug itself.
