Curser "weirdness" after re-booting in Win2K with cordless Logitech keyboard, mouse

OK, it's no "big" deal BUT it happens everytime I reboot this PC in Win2K (dual boots and not occuring in Win98SE). I'm using a Logitech cordless keyboard and Logitech cordless optical mouse (the 4 button w wheel expensive motha). All Logitech softare for these 2 devices is properly installed.
What happens is that after a re-boot the curser is wildly jumping around my desktop out of control until I click the space bar, enter key, and mouse buttons (NO, I'm still not sure which one's stopping this) BUT after doing that, the curser and everything else functions normally.
A long shot but...................anyone?
