someone at work decides to jack components from his own computer at work. Guess what he stole after seein everything in that was valuable.

he took ram chip 128mb
when he could of taken the 1.ghz processor intel pentium 3 and motherboard the audigy video card and the cd burner drive and dvd drive and the 40gb hardrive.

why take ram chip when you can just take the whole thing or just the hardrive since its most expensive and so easy to take

So you think he is stupid because he stole something of lesser value when he could have stole something of more value just as easy? To me a theif is a theif and they are all stupid because they steal not because of what they steal.

cause at work lately alot of the workers have been stealing computers theres even one laptop missing we here at work dont care cause. we just order new ones at expense of the tax dollars. i tell them we should have secure place to put em in and have camera to see who goes in and out

Since when don't YOU pay taxes, fearfox? That statement sucks, and so does that attitude about the taxpayers.

we moved into new building and there is no security the school board knows this problem but refuse to fix it. I have sent letter to my superiors and superintendent and they do not do anything about. about taxes i do pay taxes i hate paying taxes but it has to be done. i been telling since we moved and nothing is done. i can do anything cause its out of my jurisdiction.

Seems like an anonymous tip to the local newspaper might expose the problem and outrage some tax payers.

Just make sure they can't trace the tip back to you and if you have to talk to anyone, tell them they can't use your name.

i remember when i got hired i can not rat out or in any way make lawsuit towards the school district unless its stressful work enviormetn or sexual harrasment?

going to work on thursday i am going to go look at code conduct book. I think the books are like 600 pages each.

Some people are more stupid than others, Why steal? Is your job worth going to jail for what you steal? Lets see you got 128meg stick of ram worth $30.00 If you get cought You will get fired, go to jail and now have a record with the police, All for what you could have bought for two hours of pay.

It's annoying when people steal stuff we have lost 1 laptop this year that someone nicked. However I have a very strict policy with people who nick stuff and get caught, they get sacked, and they better not be stupid enough to ask for a reference.

Actually they wouldn't go to jail... because that wouldn't be a felony. Its not worth enough to be a felony. I forget what the exact dollar amount that you have to steal is to be a felony but I think its somewhere around the $150 area.
