How do I make an ATX system Power up right when the PS is eithor turned on or pluged in? is there any easy way? I tried a jumper on the mboard but that didnt work...and thats all I thought of. :)

shorting(connecting a wire between) the green wire and a ground wire(any black one) on the motherboard connector will turn the ps on.

Not really. It requires a momentary short of the PS-ON line to ground, along with sufficient loading on the +5v line to keep it operating.

The only way that might work is if your BIOS has a setting in Power Management or Power Up Control called "power on after loss" or something like that. If that's enabled, then if you pull the power cord it should power up when you reinser the cord.

can I ask what you're ultimately trying to accomplish?

well in the Lego case I havent made a power switch...and hte only way I have to turn it on is sort the 2 prongs. it will be pluged into the tv so I would really just like to use the switch on the PS...but it is an OLD ass mboard...epox mvp4-a k6-2 stuff. ill check the bios if I get around to it. :) THanks for the idea.
