I had the router installed and running just fine, with @home and the 3 computers that the router is connected to. But now since the switch from @home to powerlink I can't get it to work right. I finally just today got into the router configuration. Its weird though because I will get it to work for a few minutes, but as soon as I go to another computer to test, or switch my OS (win98/win2k) it won't work and I have to change things. I've had it working for a few minutes with the router finding its own ip/dns specified ip/ own dns, and own ip/ specified dns. But I can't get it to work completley. What I need to do is find a program or something that will give me my IP and everything from win2k, when I have the computer hooked directly to the modem. Also if you guys have any suggestions that would help too

Since the router is now DHCP , You will need to setup the computers to the router static ip.
hmmm, still a little confused.

Well I'm not sure how this is going to help, but in Win2K you type IPCONFIG /ALL at the DOS prompt in a DOS window and you'll see the IP, gateway, DNS, etc for you network connection.
If it works using DHCP connecting the computer to the modem directly, then it should work using DHCP on the router.
There's no guarantee that you're being assigned a static IP so copying the settings from the computer to the router may not work - worth a try though.
You sure you haven't forgetten to set something?
Did you change the Workgroup (network) name on the router to whatever the new name is supposed to be (used to be @Home)?
very interesting

I don't know why, but now that I have specified the IP on my box in win 98 and win2k, and setup my moms computer to just detect the IP automatically it seems to be working ok. When I specified the IP on my moms (running win 98 btw) it gave me an error cuz my computer was using the same IP or whatever. Well I still have to see whether or not my sisters is gonna work (win2k) can't try right nowthough cuz shes sleeping

Thanx for all your help guys.
