i finally got around to playing diablo 2 and i am having some resolution problems. i can only play the game at 600*480. I have a gts2 with the newest detinator drivers on win xp. anyone have the same problem? know how to fix it?
also, if you are running the game at a hight resolution, what is your registry value under resolution in the diablo part of your registry. thanx

get the expantion pack. then it is 800/600.

it is only a 640/480 engin. not much you can do about it. jsut hope U find the expantion pack cheap is all.

The exp pack is worth it, not only for the 800x600 res, also many other enhancements of the gameplay.

we'll have to get up a regular game ..... my lvl 80 druid is beginning to rock

i havent played that game in the longest time..

what patch is it now? i remember when the 1.08 came out, and they had physical immunities...bad if u had a barbarian
and they changed the spells around so much alot of people had to rebuild

1.09d is out now. didnt do much but the 1.09c was supposed to fix the trade hack and some other stuff.
the exp pack is a must have IMO. mercs are much better with it. and the better resolution is just gravy. go get it

never played pre exp, but i have a sorc with a level 63 asct2 holy freeze merc who can actually stay alive in hell with a little help

which one is the holy freeze merc? ive hired probably 6 different ones and havent gotten one yet. is he defensive or offensive cause all i looked at was offensive. i have a barb merc with my lvl 88 sorc and he uses the vile tusk sword, rare barb helm and 900+def armor and gets his whipped all over the place. heck he as more def than the my sorc and does 1000 dam with that sword and he still cant make it. hell he cant stay alive long enought to lvl any and with all the physical immune baddies in bloodhills what can you do? 8ppl cow runs would be great if he could stay alive. i want that act 2 merc though.

You have to get the Defensive Merc in NIGHTMARE, he'll have HOLY FREEZE.
He'll have Defiance Aura on NORMAL and HELL, just check the Merc page on DiabloII.

mine has some 700 armor 150 p/topaz shako and a 4 socket halberd w/ 3 perf emeralds and something else, don't remember - the my sorc is ts/fw/some fo so he chills and i grills

i had an act 2 soc merc with my druid, but he's so low level now he's useless, i'm mostly doing cow runs at lunchtime to level and his AI is totally insufficient for that

i need to twink my sorc from act1 to 5 in hell - maybe we can get a game up - i usually play thurs nites

dang wv how did you luck up and get 2 shakos? are those the 1.08's? heck i got excited when i found the 158%ed titans, i couldnt imagine what i would do if i found a good shako or occulus i am proud of my tals armor though. 910def and socketed with p topaz for 112%mf. everybody tries to get my armor when i show them. i wonder how many soj's its worth?

i found the shakos doing hell blood runs - the sorcs aren't interested in them - had a coupla good mephy runs tonight - i've been going to old cow games then jumping to 5 to get pindlekin - got a couple of set items but nothing good do far -y the way the shakos aren't harlequins just regular - now i'm finding a lot of giant conche helmets - my mf is only about 200 in fighting gear which is too low to find good stuff

o i see those arent harlequins. i was fixing to say if you found 2 of those you are one lucky dude. i've found shakos plenty but never a harlequin. my sorc would be very intersted in one of those. who is pindlekin btw. ive heard ppl talk about it but i guess i dont know who or what he is.
