Where in the hell is frontpage express at???

Post by PreDatoR »

I know in Win98 the first edition it showed up when u loaded the computer. I can't find it with SE. My woman wants me to change the links on one of her webpages she has on AOHELL and she used AOHELL's editor to make them and its a big pain in the ass to use. So i thought i'd use Frontpage Express but its no where to be found in 98se. Anyone know where i can find it at? all i wanna do is change the damn links...

If it's installed, it'll probably be in your Accessories programs folder somewhere.

The actual files are in \program files\frontpage express

If you can't find it, then you didn't install it. Go to Add/Remove programs, click on the Windows Setup tab and find it and install it.

With Win98fe it was in a folder under Programs called Internet Explorer with some other stuff when its installed. Its not there with win98se. I went to the control panel to the add remove windows components and can't find it in there either. So i wonder if it wasn't included with 98se. I even download the full install of IE 5.5 hoping it would be with it and it wasn't. I got pissed finally and just used notepad and edited the html files so i don't really need it anymore but it would be nice to have.

Well... all you need is the files in that one folder. It is pretty easy to take from one machine to another. You don't even have to install it... just copy it to a folder and it will run fine.

It was a "free" solution... I wonder if MS would have problems with someone posting the program. ??

I will look around to see if I can find my copy.
