Damn greg! lol. Do you have enough fans and heatsink in that case! I've got 2 120mm Panaflo's on the side. One blowing right on the CPU and on directly under than blowing air out. And the fan in my PSU which blows out. My temps are Case 31C CPU 37C. That is running Folding. 900@1100 Bird. WBK38 HSF on the CPU.

I have had this case for about 3 maby 4 years now. I got it Right after the Voodoo2's came out. It was the First case I ever found that had a place for a fan behind the CPU.

Your are right there are Lots of fans and Lots of heatsinks in there but you kind of need it with scsi in such a small space....that wasnt designed for it. It might be a Little cooler ike 52C or something but not by much. I just Folded the last 68pin cable. thats about All I can do with what I have....Ill cut the other blow hole and let that be That I guess. the enermax PS is the onl other thing that will help past that.

Dats indeededly pretty hot :D

I have the Lian-Li PC60 case and mine is full, makes me think there's not enough air left inside the case to be moved.

- Cheetah X15, Cheetah 9LP, IBM XP18
- Pioneer DVD-305S, Plextor 32, PlexWriter 4/12
- ZIP, ORB (UW, 2.2GB removable), Floppy (only non SCSI device)

- Iwill KK266 with 1200@1480 (H2O) fully loaded

- self rounded Floppy cable
- self rounded 5-connector Ultra SCSI cable
- machine rounded UW cable
- flat LVD cable

Case 31C
CPU 40C (43-45C under load)
Room 25C

Oh yeah, I have 2 x 80 Panaflo H1A in front (intake) and 2 x 80mm Panaflo M1A at rear (also intake) and 2 x 120 Panaflo M1A in tandem on Rad as exhaust on top of case (looks alien).

I don't dare rounding my LVD cable ... and the machine rounded still cost serious money, besides, my HDD's are at the bottom of the case, so the cable won't hinder airflow.

ok the case is around 35c and the cpu is at 52c after the second blowhole. The Prob is Not enough Air going Out. that is why I want an enermax so it can Zap the hot air right off the heatsink. Ohwell I still say it is stable so who cares.

I was playinhg aroudn with my fans a couple weeks ago. Just the 120's. I found that having one blowing in and one blowing out cooled it better than having both blowing in or both out. if its all balanced out it flows a lot better. If you pump too much in you create a pressure in the case. If too much blowing out you create a vaccum inside the case. Might just take and turn a few fans around so you can equalize the case and see if that helps. I know it did mine. Dropped my case and processor temp 4C when i had one set as exhuast and one as intake.

Man all these blow holes and things are too much hassel. Just get yourself and Antex SX serries case and fill all the fan holders with 80mm case fans and be done with it. I have an SX830 granted my HD are IDE and the CPU is Intel but my case tmep stays equal with ambeint room temp and CPU temp never goes over 37c. That is a P3 750@1000 with a vcore of 1.85

Ok I can relate to not wanting to spend the $$$ but if your case is running that hot with all the fans and blowholes I have to disagree that it is equal to one of the Antecs. Anyway I would make the one by the CPU an exhaust as I think it is better to get the hot air out

I would make the one on the side above the CPU an intake and have the exhaust from the front back and top. Blow the cool air into the case right on the CPU HSF and use the others to draw the hot air away from it. Thats how mine is setup and it seems to work pretty good. Was the best combo i found for my case. Which is an AOpen HX45A i think.

The SX830 isn't big enough for all those scsi devices he has. He'd have to get the SX1030 to fit it all. I think the antec case would be better but not enough to warrant the $100+ price tag(unless he just wanted an nicer overall case).

Or you could always go with that Addtronics W8500 WTX case greg ;) That'd get the temps down.
