Can't remember if you said you did or not.. but did you try as was suggested pulling the mobo out of the case and powering it up that way?

P4 Problem
Did you actually put in the "RAMBUD" Terminators
If you didn't, it should not post at all. If you did put the RIMMs in the right slots but without the Terminators, it'll power up and give you the long beeps.

okay.. try checking the power cable connecting to the mobo.. see if it gets loose. There should be 3 cable total not one like P3.. i did that and it boot, also do you have a spare monitor, check other monitor maybe this one could be bad.. who knows.. good luck!

id have to guess that it is something to do with the cpu thermal protection in the bios,
if you can get into the bios,there is settings to disable it,i had to do this on a new a7vpro mainboard recently,but P4 is a totally differant bird,there was also a differant key on the keyboard i had to push to get into the bios,besides the delete key,~Good luck!!!! Dave
