if the memory has errors on it...what good is cleaning it going to do?
and in that last screen shot, it had an error on file nv4.disp.dll....isnt that an nvidia problem then?
try a new vid card, try a new stick of ram you know is good. Try a new power supply
is it overclocked? clock it back down to default

Umm.. Maybe I'm misreading.. can't quite tell if you're really thankful, or if the linky I provided made you feel stupid? lol.. Hope it was the first part. All it's stating is that there are, as referenced in one of the screen shots, some faulty drivers causing the problem.

the vid card works i had it in a diff rig, i got that error after installing SP2
i got a "new" (new to me) stick of ram
the power supply is 430 (new) watt
its not oc'ed

guess i need a new one...

just cause something is "new" doesnt mean it cant have any problems
and as for a new card, I ment a different card, other than nvidia. Because that one file nv4.disp.dll is an nvidia related file
can you atleast get into safe mode? or does it blue screen immediatly on start up?
