alright, that's good to know. i guess while i'm bugging you guys already, i'll ask one last question 
i've recently been told that running more then 50 feet of cat5 cable will cause a lot of packetloss. the thing is, right now i'm behind about 75 feet of it, and i have a terrible connection. i'm still working on whether it's the cat5, the router or the actual signal from the modem.
is there any truth to that? it makes sense, but just wanted to make sure before i went calling my ISP telling them i get crazy amounts of packet loss.
