Hey guys.. Sorry about the blurry pics, but I think you can get the idea from the first picture as to how badly this guy chipped the mobo. I don't know what he did, but he did it good.. lol.. Anywho.. newegg shipped my new one out today.. LMK what you guys think if you can see through the blur.. Special thanx to Cat for hosting the pics for me.. THANX CAT!! eGo

I'm not sure that minor scratch is a problem. It's near a mounting / grounding point, but I don't see any obvious traces that were cut. Why are you so sure it killed the mobo?:tongue

Well, I've tried everything on the ASUS.. No go.. I've put two different processors both of which work in the ECS board and checked all my connections reseated everything and no go. I just don't know what's up. Is there something simple I'm forgetting? I'm frustrated with this.. lol.. eGo

Well, I guess I was wrong.. Had a friend try putting the CPU that came with the PC in his board and it was a no go. I'm going to order another one. An XP1800+ retail, and try it in the board, hope that works. Thanks for all of your help guys.. eGo

I'm having the same problem, but a different power supply seems to make the board happy.

Hey Man.. First off, Welcome to PCA.. :) Thanx for the response, long since got the beast running.. Turned out to be a dead processor. Got the new one XP1800+ running at 1.64ghz right now.. eGo
