OK, I was able to download the versions I needed. Thanks for the switches.

Now I do have one small problem. I have a notebook pc. It's a P90MHz with 16 megs of ram running Win95b (OSR2.1). I copied the files over and wanted to install version 5.5, but after the setup starts, it says that windows needs to download some files in order to continue with the instillation of IE5.5. The notebook does NOT have internet access! This really pisses me off. Why does MS assume that everyone in the world has internet access? I only wanted to update IE version 3 or 4 that comes with Win95b to the latest so I could view some off-line web pages on a CD. Does anyone know what files it wants to update?

I'm not quite sure that IE 6 (or IE 5.5) support Win95 at all ... maybe they're more like Win98 and above ...

Just my 2 pfennigs ...

IE 5.5 still supports Win95x, as it's stated in the readme file. I think what I might do is upgrade from IE3 to IE4, and then try the upgrade from IE4 to 5.5.

IE6 is NOT supported in Win95x, only in Win98.
