What kind of cooling are you using? Just curious.

That was with an OEM chip on an Epox 8KhA+ with a ThermalRight SK6 Heatsink.

Running at 11.5x140
Tried 12x but the CPU wouldnt do it and I am limited to 140FSB with the NIC.

You call an sk6 "no special cooling"? :P That is premo from what I've heard. I'll be getting one in myself soon. But I still like the Senfu or Dr Thermal.

are you using the delta that comes with that SK6? Thats a pretty sweet jump. I have an SK6 with a "slower" (assuming slower since it's quieter) sunon fan and my setup runs ~40c. I've seen it as high as 46c after some Quake.

Its not a delta...This one is slower RPM then the delta version .... And not as noisy

It was a job I did for a friend...
My 1700+ comes in monday, I Have a swiftech...So it will be nice to compare the overclock'ability of the 1600+ to the 1700+
