I Need Help Mouse Control Panel Applet is Missing

I have had trouble with my Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse.
Tried different drivers etc...it was acting funny in games.
WHen I uninstalled the crappy mouseware now my mouse icon or applet in control panel doesnt work.
it says error in main.cpl file
How can I fix that file?
I am using Win ME and I dont know how to extract a single file from the disk.
