thing about getting the short people in the house something to replace the n64
they don't play any gory or violent games (mom is adamant) - they like pokemon, beetle racing, zelda, etc.
i figure anything for the xbox will eventually be available for pc (and i figure my 1333 tbird/8500 will do a better job)
i like the nintendo because it uses a sealed cartridge and these kids are consituttionally incapable of actually putting a cd rom back in the case
thoughts?
gamecube, xbox or ps2 ?

Sounds like you already made up your mind on the subject... but for your kids and the games they like it sounds to me like the gamecube is the best option. No console uses cartridges any more tho so I think you're S.O.L on that one.
good luck!
