Dash Cams

Post by Losbot »

There was a discussion once (it could have been on the Red-Eye board but I didn't see it there either) regarding dash cams. I was looking to get one of these and I was hoping for some suggestions. I recall we had some Amazon links in there to some good units with reasonable pricing.

Thanks!

You can get the camera here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00KZ0GKVS/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1417712865&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40

Make sur you by a 32 gig micro sd card that's class 10. Get any brand but sandisk. For some reason those cards don't play nice according to the reviews.

I also bought a 32 GB mico card to replace the standard 8 GB that comes with the cam. I bought it in June of this year. The manual sucks, but I did find a great write up on the net. I also replaced the dash mount fixture with a mirror mount:

The only negative on this cam is there is no camera for the rear.
