I managed to get an english translation of the hardware:
Pubished on November 17, 2014Hallo, I show the combination of different user interfaces in use by elite Dangerous. The work is heavily inspired by the many ideas of our German-speaking Community on http://www.elitedangerous.de Here each technology consulting and cockpit Bastelecke especially a clan / group field, German and English News, a player board and gameplay -Diskussionen. Check it out!
The perspective is a bit distorted by the side intake and the video has no sound at the beginning (my first work with a video editor). There are in the channel but another video that shows the perspective https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvNL695rJKo
The setup can also be in anaglyph 3D drive, but side-by-side does not work in Eyefinity in 5760 x 1080th
Setup:
Projectors: 3 x TH681 BenQ Full HD 3D DLP
Touch interface: Selfmade dashboard with 3 Treckstor Ventos 10.1 SurfTabs, Software: Roccat Power Grid
Voice Commands Voice Attack software with voice feedback
Head Tracker: TrackIR (passive rear)
Gesture recognition: not active in this video: LeapMotion controller
HOTAS Joystick: Saitek X52 Pro
Keyboard: Logitech G19
Graphics: Crossfire 2x Sapphire RADEON R9 290 Tri-X OC with AMD Eyefinity, resolution 5760 x 1080
Sound: Logitech z 5500 5.1

This, BTW, is the successor to the 1984 game Elite, the first space commerce/piracy sim. I remember playing thousands of hours of the original Elite.
It's still in beta and not due for release until Dec 16th. Keeping an eye on this game - I might buy it.
There's been some uproar among Kickstarter backers because the programmers promised an off-line single player game, and they reneged on that saying that even in single player the game needs to connect to the servers to update the galaxy (although you're playing alone in single player, you're still sharing a galaxy with other players). Probably also phoning home for DRM. People are pissed and demanding refunds.

BTW, the original 1984 Elite can be downloaded for free from their website, as part of the promotion leading up to the release of the new game:
