Bluetooth Question

Post by RubberDuckie »

Can a phone connect to two devices at one time?

I have bluetooth in my car (Ford Sync) and I use it for my phone. I am looking at a Garmin device for my car and they have ones that connect to your phone to put the weather radar on the GPS maps. I am wondering if my phone can connect to both the car and garmin at the same time?

To my knowledge, yes. I haven't tried but I think so.
My iPad connects to my wireless keyboard and cellphone, so I would think so.

yeah, it should work assuming you have a newer phone and recent version of bluetooth. 2.1 may have been more limited but version 3+ should be able to simultaneously connect to multiple devices. an example would be the Galaxy S4 that can.
