Anybody got one of these? Newegg has them for $99 down from $299. Wife and I have been using Logitech wireless which we find light and comfortable but the build quality in lousy and they only last about a year and always seem to have connection problems. I ordered her a Kraken mid range wired headset. I have an older set of mid-range plantronics circumaural, but they've never been very comfortable. I have a big head.
Nobody seems to be making decent wireless that don't have major connection issues. sigh.
The reviews on these are generally pretty good. I have a lot of hearing loss, so I thought a really high end pair might be good. But if they are not comfortable ......

I'm using the Plantronics Gamecom 377 analog headset. I actually have two. Love it.
I don't personally like USB headsets like the Commander, but that's supposed to be a good one.

I have 2 pair of some slightly before the 377 but they look the same. I love them. I can't stand on or in ear sets. I prefer a good set of cans, and these deliver. The mic is good too.

These are pretty nice. they really block the outside noise and are comfortable so far. They come in their own zip up hard case (I guess for dragging them around to lan parties and cons). Build quality seems high and the ear piece adjustments are simple. With the big boom mic, I feel like George Patton.
I just have on-board sound, but I've played with it so that stuff sounds pretty decent. I have a lot of hearing loss, most if it hi-freq, so my benchmark is whether it sounds nice and something like I remember from the old days.
Probably a pretty good deal for $100.
