Wife keeps getting "account unavaliable" due to site problems on FB

She never had any issues before. Sometimes she can get in, and then gets an error screen. Been going on for a couple of days now.

She relies on it for business so it is important$$. She recently dissolved a business arrangement with someone (they weren't happy about it), but that person did not have any high end computer skills afaik...might have a friend who dies though. that is the only variable that I see. Fairly new dell lappie and no known hardware issues.

Did the following: changed windows/FB/email linked to passwords.

Ran the apps suggested by FP - all clean except for 1 adware serving program (found by malwarebytes) and some cookies. Wife is pretty careful and doesn't go the kinds of places we do sometimes.

Remote computer access was turned on, now off.

I will google it some but thought maybe one of you fix-it guys had run across this.
