Thanks a ton for all your help this time around guys, especially FP! You helped make a great new rig.

I built it! Idles at <85W, and boots past the Windows 7 logo before the quadrants can fully animate. Water cooling to come soon.

Sort of a BS way of benching, but I've been busy using this PC, so, here's what Windows thinks of it.

What's strange to me is that Windows doesn't seem to care about how much RAM I have, just how fast it is. With many people's PCs swapping RAM to (spinning usually) disk, wouldn't it matter much more for performance that you had 4GB or 8GB of "slow" RAM compared with 2GB of "fast" RAM?
