apple tech BS a week for phone support

i tryed to call tech support on the wifes new Ipod 2 today due to a software problem using itunes and there new os5 OS on her ipod2 . i go online to set up a appontment /get the call in no. Is told to make a appontment for a return call first avail return call back date is the 25 of oct. wtf this is total BS.
i wanted to upload some mp3s to her new Ipod2 and itunes will read the unit on my pc .but then it stops seeing it via the usb port .
beware of Apples os5 it has problems.
im not the first to be having problems using the new os running windows (xp ) 32 bit
friends running the 64 bit windows 7 and he having problems to .

Well, I've got an ipad2 and 4 Touches, iTunes on 2 XP machines, one on Vista and havent yet needed tech support because there isn't anything concerning iTunes that can't be solved by simply googling the question, problem. There are also many Apple forums with people who know the products.
I have no issues or problems with any of my Apple devices.

I have no intention of upgrading to iOS5 until the next version is released and all the bugs are worked out. All my stuff works right now and I'm good with that.

I had problems with every software update bricking my iPod Touch.
I didn't bother with the last update because I didn't feel like wasting 4 hours trying to get it to work again.

The worst thing I've ever had happen with an OS update on a Touch was a crash that then needed a reset, not a big deal if your stuff is backed up as it should be.
As for Ios5, apparently it just came out and after reading up on it from the Apple site itself, there's no way I'd rush into trying that until I see how others are doing with it. Way too soon now considering all the changes.
