I'm thinking about upgrading my desktop. I'm currently running an Intel Q6600 with a GTX 275 and 8GB Ram. I'm looking at the following:
ASUS P8P67 LE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
EVGA SuperClocked 012-P3-1573-KR GeForce GTX 570
I'll also buy new Hard Drives to take advantage of SATA III. I'm still contemplating buying an SSD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148441
However, it's very difficult for me to want to pay $120 for 64 GB when I can buy a TB for $90.

Well you don't JUST buy the 64 Gb SSD. You buy the SSD and a 1Tb drive. Only install Windows on the SSD and your basic apps. Relocate your personal folders to the 1Tb drive and install all your games on it.
I love the boot times with my SSD, and the desktop is a heck of a lot snappier.
