Don't know if this goes here or in the OS forum, but here goes.
Say I have a raid array that uses 3 disc. I make the raid then have to format it in windows. Now this card will let me add disc to the array to increase the total size. Windows however will still show the original partition plus the newly added space as not formatted.
Is there a way to add that unformatted space to the original formatted section as to make it all one drive letter or is that impossible.
What i would like to do is as I add drives to the array to be able to just increase the size of said array (drive letter) as the disc are added.
Extending a partition?

As long as that additional space shows up as normal unpartitioned space on the same virtual drive as the current partition you want to increase, then you can use a utility like Partition Magic to resize the partition.
HOWEVER although this works fine 99% of the time, if it glitches during the resizing process you will lose all your data, so it's not recommended unless you backup your data first.
