Dead or Not

Post by d_b »

I have a LINKSYS WUSB54G USB Wireless Adapter. It stopped working and the power light will not go on. if I disconnect then re-connect the usb cable the power light will flash for a second then go out. Tried it with different cable, tried the usb port with a printer and it works. My guess is the adapter is shot, unless I am missing something obvious. (which I tend to do).

if you have it in on bootup, does the light flash?

might be a driver issue.

My lappy would do the same thing, I had to change a setting in the bios. Yours has probably been workng and then just stopped though.
