Bad CCD in Digicam > free fixit

Post by wvjohn »

apparently there were a bunch of bad CCD thingies in a lot of digicams....they were shipped in plastic instead of ceramic holders and were adversely affected

Canon , Minolta and others are fixing it for free irregardless of warranty

Don't bother. Canon isn't doing anything unless the problem has been experienced. I emailed them today.
