Listen to the voice of wisdom: don't over clock it. That'll be a fast enough rig, and I'd hate to see you damage that very expensive CPU.
However if you're intent on overclocking anyway, go SLOWLY. Small increments followed by a long period of testing, and watch the temps.
Frankly that CPU is so new I doubt anyone has any idea how well it'll over clock.

If you are planning on later adding more drives, and you have room to put it, you might want to think about a full tower case. it will be easier to get in there and add/swap stuff. Back in the day, Antec was the only one making good cases. I still use those SOHO series full towers. I really like the removable drive bays, 5 or 6 fans and the extra space helps it run a bit cooler. There are more brands to choose from nowadays, like this one looks pretty cool:

Hrmm...are there any models by Thermatake that you would reccomend for overclocking? I haven't ordered the case yet...
Haven't really used any thermaltake case, but check them all out here:

Check this lil puppy out, premo and premo cooling too:

Just built a system with it now and while it makes for a little slower build, it has great cooling and looks sharp too.
More from Antec here:

They make quality products.
As FP suggested, I wouldn't overclock that cpu either. Sorry I brought it up. It is plenty fast as it is.
And as John mentioned, a great way to test how stable it is once completed is to run folding for team pca or # 78. Folding is something that is trying hard to fiind a cure for cancer. It's a good thing.
Yeah, I might want to consider another tower...What do you guys think about using this mammoth on my cpu? http://www.newegg.com/product/Product.a ... 6835118115

For that nice a rig, you should be spending around $100 for a decent PSU. Something like this:

How about this PSU instead of the one that you suggested? http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDe ... e=270025v. I was told that the EPS power supplies were actually server power supplies. I'm also decided that I'm going to get a Geforce 7800GTX 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card instead

Oh sorry about that. My mistake. Here's the link from newegg, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 817103933. The one that Flying Penguin suggested earlier was http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 817103932.

UPDATE: Damn those links don't work either...well the one that I'm looking to get is, Antec TruePower 2.0 TrueControl II 550W Power Supply. Anyone think that's a bad idea? The one Flying Penguin suggested was the Antec TruePower 2.0 TP2-550 EPS12V ATX12V 550W Power Supply.

The TrueControl has a front panel control panel that allows you to adjust the speed of the fans I think. Needlessly complicated if you don't need that.

The TrueControl also allows you to control voltages with that front panel. But either Antec will do ya just fine.
This is for the first version, but the 2.0 version is very similar, just updated.

# TrueControl control panel installs in 5.25" drive bay and still supports a 3.5" drive. Adjust voltage outputs and minimum fan speed from the front of your case.
# User-adjustable, individual dedicated circuits for main +3.3V, +5V, and +12V outputs.
# Dedicated output circuitry for each voltage output, overcomes the limitations of combined output of traditional design. Get all the power you need when you need it most.
Yeah, I don't think I need I the TrueControl as long as the one without it will work fine. Thanks for the info on that. There was one thing that concerned me suddenly. I'm having trouble finding out which windows operating system I should use to best utilize my dualcore processor...I know that most of them support dualcore processors. I just didnt know if they utilize both cores. I'm not sure if I should try out Windows Professional 64 bit edition. That OS is kind of unstable right now according to some.
