i got 2 pc one is window 2000 and i'm looking to connect my linux pc but i want to able to used both machine on one monitor

ok, a kvm switch will do that fine... I don't see your problem...
When all else fails, replace the user.

Agreed. Any KVM switch. It's OS independent.
