USB port help

Post by Dime Bag Dave »

I just built am A64 3000+ system with an MSI Neo Plat nf3 250 ( socket 754 ) and I'm having trouble getting the USB bracket to work. The ones on the mobo back panel work fine but the ones connected to my front panel of the case and also the included USB/1394 MSI bracket don't work either.

I've checked all the pin arrays and install points etc., and they are all connected properly. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Could it be something I'm not enabling in the BIOS? I've got USB 2.0/1.1 enabled. Maybe the mobo doesn't support this many? ...would be a total of 8 if they were all operational. :(
